Common themes

Across these impact areas, we pay particular attention to:

Responsible Business and Finance

We believe that initiatives that contribute to climate resilience
and sustainability of a landscape are best led and owned
by local stakeholders. But they need additional finance to
develop their initiatives and make them economically viable.
We work to increase smallholder access to finance by
removing barriers and designing innovative and locally
adapted financial mechanisms.

Gender and Youth

We believe that young people and all genders must equally participate in designing and implementing climate-resilient solutions that reflect their interests and equitably share the benefits. We work to mainstream youth strategies, gender responsive and gender transformative action in all
our activities and programmes.
